CERVINIA - the mighty alpine village at the Aosta valley, is a paradise for alpine skiing. Situated in the Breuil valley and at a height at 2050 meters above sea level Cervinia has a lift system which is connected to the one in Valtournenche. Together they build an area with variated skiing and multiple slopes at heights between 1524 and 3480 meters above sea level at Plateau Rosa. With an amazing view over peaks like Monte Rosa (4634 m) and Breithorn (4165 m), the Plateau Rosa offers you snow the entire year. In Cervinia you can go skiing an entire day, and you don't have to use the same slope twice. You can also take a lift to Zermatt in Switzerland to see the top of Cervinio, also known as Matterhorn(4478 m). It really is an experience of a lifetime. There are many different alternatives for ski pass, like one where you have six days of unlimited skiing in both Italy and Switzerland, or six days in Italy and only one in Switzerland. After you have been skiing you can visit over 50 different restaurants, several pubs and discotheques. Like everywhere in Italy there is a very “italian feeling” in Cervinia. The sun, the food and the music is combined in a different way, but it is still very relaxing and exciting at the same time . To the Italians, an alpine vacation is not just skiing, but also relaxing in the sun, good food and listening to music, all included in the price!
